Class Is Full
Scent Work is a great way for dogs to use their nose and brains for problem solving. Class will start out with learning commitment to odor. Teaching them to focus on the odor as high value. We will be working to get a nose freeze as our indication that they are at odor and do not move until we release them. We will be using a cocktail of odor including, Birch, Anise, Clover, and Cypress. Odors will be separated once everyone has a strong indication. This is a great sport that can easily be done in your home. But can also prepare you for Scent Work competition.
Requirements: Basic Obedience skills Duration: 60 minutes

Novice To Master Scentwork

Dogs are already familiar with odor and searching. Class will be friendly to novice through master level dogs. Whether you are just wanting to continue for fun, getting ready to compete or already competing at any level. We will be working on but not limited to, multiple hides, how to work at a distance, air flow is our friend and understanding when our dogs are done searching with unknown number of hides.
